Lifeguards for Summer Season

The City of Willits is hiring lifeguards for 2012 summer season at the City Pool. Applications for lifeguards will be accepted until adequate staffing has been achieved. Applicants must possess current certificates for Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional, and First Aid for the Professional. If your Lifeguard or CPR certifications have expired, you must complete a recertification class offered on Saturday, May 5th, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., at the Willits City Pool. For any interested new recruits, there will be a lifeguard training class held on Saturday and Sunday, April 28th–29th, and May 6th. All participants must be 15 years old by the end of the course. Seasonal Parks Worker

The City of Willits is accepting applications for a temporary (seasonal) maintenance worker in Public Works, $15/hour. This position will primarily be assigned maintenance of City parks during the warm weather season, but have other duties as assigned. The deadline for submitting an application is Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at 5:00 p.m.
